Maybury State Park is my go-to exploration location in Northville when I need to get out in nature. It’s a great place to wander out in the trees and hear the sounds of nature all around.
My favorite location at Maybury is the fishing pond. The fishing pond hiking loop provides ideal settings for portrait photo opportunities, both out in the bright sun and hidden back in the trees.
There are a couple of entrances to Maybury State Park. I prefer the entrance off of Beck Road. It is the closest entrance to the pond hiking loop. It is also the entrance for the Maybury Riding Stable.
